Hidden Barriers

The Level Playing Field Institute reveals and removes barriers to a level playing field in higher education and workplaces.

In higher education, we build model programs of scholarship and support that remove the multiple interlocking barriers that exist for underrepresented students, so that they can achieve their dreams and full potential.

For workplaces, we focus on revealing and removing hidden barriers that hinder the creation of fair work environments. Through our research, campaigns, targeted trainings, and distillations of best practices we work to create a true level playing field.

As individuals, we come from a variety of backgrounds including academia, non-profit and corporate workplaces, and wield a variety of qualifications including J.D.s, M.B.A.s and Ph.D.s. Individually, we're as varied as you are; but together, we are barrier busters!
